ASTM A516 Gr. 60, 65

A516 Grade 60, Grade 65 is high quality carbon steel plate material for pressure vessel fabrication with good weldability and notch toughness. A516 Grade 65 has greater specified tensile and yield strength when compared with A516 Grade 60.

Excellent performance in moderate and lower temperature services. Used extensively in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical Industries, Sour Service and wet H2S applications.

Certification in accordance with EN10204 3.1 or EN10204 3.2

  • ASTM A516 Gr.60:  JIS G3118 SGV410,  DIN 17155HII,  BS1501-161-430A,  EN10028 P265GH
  • ASTM A516 Gr.65:  JIS G 3118 SGV450,  DIN 17155 17 MN 4,  BS1501-224-460A/B,  EN10028 P295GH
ASTM A516 Gr. 70

A516 Grade 70 plate material is suitable for pressure vessels and industrial boiler fabrication. Grade 70 is especially suited for service in lower than ambient temperature applications.

Grade 70 offers greater tensile and yield strength than grades 60, 65 and can operate at even lower temperatures. This material is also used extensively for Pipe Shoes, Gussets and Base Plates etc. Available as rolled or normalised material, ex stock and can be processed and/or cut to size as required.

Certification in accordance with EN10204 3.1 or EN10204 3.2.
